Finding corporate America increasingly unrewarding, my DJ career began while working part-time for a multi-operator company (multi-op: a company with a few or many DJ's who all work part-time). I thought from the very first night as an assistant DJ that this was not only something I could do well for my brides, grooms & their guests, but how cool would it be if I could offer some really unique, personalized touches to make their night that much better?
Tiring of the volume-based, cookie-cutter multi-operator DJ business model, I bagged on my full-time job and started a company called Good Vibrations, the goal being to provide my couples with both a musically lively reception & one that would be meaningful & uniquely memorable. That philosophy gave birth to many talent-based offerings like customized introductions, custom music edits, formal dance voiceovers & more, all the while keeping my couples in creative control, letting them pick & choose those entertainment pieces that they'd like to have as part of their celebration. It all began as Good Vibrations Entertainment & has morphed into the website you are now visiting, Weddings by Paris.
I’ve done over 700 receptions so far & have been personally trained by some of the most talented, creative wedding DJ's on the east & west coasts. I’ve also performed in two episodes of Court TV's "Forensic Files" and my resume includes voice work at Channel 69 News WFMZ-TV & AM & PM traffic reporting on 99.9 The Hawk, 93.5 WSBG, Y102 in Reading, and other regional stations.
Weddings by Paris Entertainment has earned The Knot’s Best of Weddings distinction every year since 2014 and has also been honored with The Knot’s Hall of Fame award. Well over 200 Five-Star reviews on The Knot means that Weddings by Paris is the most reviewed and most well-reviewed single-operator, full-time, weddings-only DJ from the Poconos to the Lehigh Valley to central PA to Maryland, DC & Northern Virginia.
